Savannah's only spectacular light show

From November 23 until January 1, Hutchinson Island will play host to an extraordinary community holiday event, The Savannah Harbor Festival of Lights. The children’s charity non-profit, Savannah Harbor Foundation, is working in conjunction with various charities and organizations in the Greater Savannah Area to orchestrate an experiential, interactive holiday experience for the entire family.

The focus of the event is a drive-through of over 60 larger-than-life lighted displays staged around the Road Course on the island—everything from moving pirate ships to enormous nutcrackers and oversized teddy bears. After the drive, families can park at the center of the Road Course in the pit and paddock, and enjoy a wide range of ever-changing activities and delight in festive treats like s’mores and hot chocolate around a bonfire. With an exotic animal exhibition by Staples Safari Zoo, and a live nativity scene, every night is different and every visit uniquely thrilling. The Whiskey Barrel: A Craft Tasting Experience
On Saturday December 8, join us for this Festival of Lights signature event and Savannah's tastiest winter party featuring over 20 whiskeys and 75 craft beers. Alive in Savannah
Also, be sure to register for Alive in Savannah, a fitness-oriented event on New Year’s Eve Day, including a 5k, 10k, kids ¼-mile and various exercise challenges, ending with a fireworks show in the evening.
